All guests under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
All guests under 14 must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Welcome Desk
Facility Policies:
1. Weapons are prohibited.
2. Members and guests must check in upon entering the facility.
3. All members must be at least 8 years of age or accompanied by an adult 18 or older. Children 7 years of age and younger are not to be left unattended.
4. All guests must be at least 14 years of age with a signed waiver or accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
5. All new members and guests must provide a government issued photo ID when purchasing a membership or daily pass.
6. All members and guests are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner so as not to endanger themselves or others, cause damage, or threaten the well-being of others.
7. Loitering, alcohol, smoking, vaping and tobacco use of any kind are prohibited on Valley Rec grounds and in the facility.
8. Food, chewing gum, and beverages (excluding water bottles) are prohibited in the gymnasium and aquatics center.
9. Abusive and profane language is prohibited.
10. Appropriate dress must be worn while in the facility.
11. Bicycles, animals, and skates of any kind are not permitted inside the facility.
12. Valley Rec scheduled activities will take priority in all areas.
13. Unauthorized videography/photos without consent are prohibited.
14. Headphones must be worn for personal audio.
15. Valley Rec is not responsible for lost or stolen property; please secure valuables appropriately. Lost and Found items will be donated after a week if
not claimed.
16. Valley Rec staff has absolute authority to enforce all rules and evict any participant from the premises who does not behave in an appropriate manner.

1. The Universal Locker Room is a co-ed area, swimsuit and clothing are required when outside of individual changing rooms.
2. Please use Universal Locker Room when assisting children.
3. Adult Locker Rooms are for individuals 18 years of age and older.

5. Lockers are for day use only. Any items left overnight will be moved to Lost and Found.

6. Unauthorized training is prohibited.
7. Valley Rec scheduled activities will take priority in all activity areas.
Pickleball courts are reserved on MWF from 9:00am-11:00am for open gym pickleball.

Aquatics Center
Pool Policies:
1. Water temperature range will vary from 85-87 degrees.
2. No running on the pool deck.
3. Diving is only allowed in designated areas.
4. No breath holding.
5. Shower before entering the pool.
6. Food, chewing gum, and beverages (excluding water bottles) are prohibited in the aquatics center.
7. No rough play.
8. Children 7 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult within arm's reach at all times.
9. Child to adult ratio must be under 3:1.
10. Proper swimwear must be worn in the pool.
11. Floatation devices must be coastguard approved. Individuals using floatation devices are restricted to the shallow pool at all times.
12. Feet first water entry in shallow, aqua climb, and slide areas.
13. Only lifeguard approved toys may be used in the pool.
14. Unauthorized swim lessons and/or training are prohibited.
Lap Swim Policies:
1. Lap lanes are to be used for lap swimming only, unless approved and scheduled by the Aquatics Coordinator.
2. If two patrons swim laps in the same lane, the swimmers shall decide whether to swim on each side of the lane or circle swim.
3. If three or more swimmers are in the same lane, all must swim in a circular manner.
4. Lifeguards reserve the right to reorganize persons using the lap lanes.
Climbing Wall Policies:
1. Only one climber at a time on climbing wall.
2. Only one swimmer at a time in drop zone of climbing wall.
3. Use of goggles while jumping from climbing wall prohibited.
Diving Board Policies:
1. Swimming is allowed in diving area only when diving boards are not in use. Check with lifeguard.
2. Diving or jumping off sides into diving area when boards are in use is prohibited.
3. Divers must be comfortable in deep water. Divers may be asked to perform a swim test.
4. Only one person on the board at a time. Divers must wait on deck until previous diver exits diving area.
5. Divers must walk to the end of the board. One bounce only on the board is permitted.
7. Headfirst divers must enter water with both arms overhead.
8. Divers must exit immediately using the ladder or to the shallow area after entering water.
10. Forward dives only (no back flips, back dives, or back jumps).
11. Adjustment of diving board fulcrum is prohibited unless participating in a supervised diving program.
12. Safe diving practices are required. Cartwheels, sitting on the edge, use of goggles and handstands are prohibited.

3. Recommended use is a maximum of 10 minutes.
4. Clothing or swimwear must be worn at all times. Shoes need to remain on the floor of the sauna.
5. The sauna is not recommended for individuals with cardiovascular or respiratory disorders.
6. Exit immediately if uncomfortable, dizzy or lightheaded.
7. Persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or other
health conditions should not enter the sauna prior to medical consultation.
8. Pregnant women should not use sauna prior to medical consultation.
