Outdoor Maintenance

Department: Outdoor Maintenance
Reports To: Outdoor Maintenance Supervisor
Salary Range: $10.00-15.00

Position Summary:
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable individual to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will assist with the upkeep and preparation of baseball and softball diamonds, golf course, and soccer fields to ensure safe and playable field conditions for practices, games, and tournaments.

Qualifications: 
Must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in carious weather conditions. Must be able to operate maintenance equipment safely and responsibly.

Essential Job Functions:
     1. Prepare baseball and softball fields before games and practices, including dragging, lining,           watering, mowing, and grooming infields.
     2. Maintain dugouts, bleachers, fencing, and surrounding facility areas.
     3. Operate and maintain equipment such as utility vehicles, field drags, mowers, and chalk                 liners.
     4. Assist with trash removal and keeping facilities clean and organized.
     5. Monitor field conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns.
     6. Assist with setup and teardown for games, tournaments, and events.
     7. Ensure fields and golf course are safe and ready for public use.
     8. Work cooperatively with staff, coaches, officials, and patrons.

Essential Job Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment required. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
